| What You Need to Know

With
the ever-shrinking funds for school activities, most of the
extra-curricular activities and programs have been cut or eliminated.
Jefferson Unified High School District and/or Terra Nova High School has
no money in the budget for water polo or any of the supplies.
TIGERPOLO is in it's infancy, and just beginning to gain some
recognition and support. For the TIGERPOLO to succeed and grow,
becoming the outstanding program that other schools have been able to
build, there will be a continual, ongoing need for fund raising. All of
the Coaching is being done on a volunteer, no pay basis, and much of the
program support comes from non-paid volunteers.

What You Can Do
|
If you
have a business in Pacifica, you can advertise on our community support
pages, and we will link from our site to your website. You get listed
with a custom ad and linking to your site for a tax deductible donation

If you wish to donate
directly to TIGERPOLO, go to our "Donating" page, make your
check payable to Terra Nova High School TIGERPOLO. Click here to

If you have time
available, volunteer your time. We need drivers to take the kids to the
tournaments and other events - we do not have the money for buses at
this time. We also need help manning the snack shops, collecting
gate fees for events and planning and manning awards banquets and
parties. If you have a little time that could make a big difference in

Having parents, friends and supporters
cheering helps motivate the kids and helps reinforce the value of the program - besides, it's
really an exciting sport to watch, gets you out in the sun for a few moments and is very
entertaining.
We know it's difficult for most of you to get to games in the early afternoon,
but if you can take an occasional afternoon off to come to the tournaments, it means a world
of difference to the kids, their morale and the success of the programs.
